Have I posted enough journal updates to annoy anyone yet? Sorry for the useless spam updates but either I never update or I flood your message board with them!

I'm procrastinating again. Yes I know, I should do hw, but I don't want to! ^-^;

The hot water and heat finally got fixed today, thank heavens. Its been almost a week and I can't tell you how happy I was to take a really, really long hot shower, just because I could. So yay for no more freezing!

If you read my last entry, I did make it to my recital. It was probably the worst performance I've ever done, but the best part of it was-no one knew that but me, my pianist and the teacher. Hahaha

Because of my being sick for so long I haven't had the chance to learn my music at all. I instead made the mistake of listening to recordings of the music and getting my timing and notes screwed up. So after two hours of practice with my saint of a pianist, I was forced to face the reality that I only had perhaps one song that I could sing without the words in front of me.

Ha.

Or so i thought. I got onto the stage and missed every one of my entrances, cracked on my high note and to top it off, forgot the last verse. Oh it was glorious. I was grinning like a mad woman at the end as I made up lyrics and continued on. The best part again was that no one noticed my screw ups except those who knew. ^____________^

I was suddenly really grateful at that moment for all of the experience that I've had singing in weird/uncomfortable/impromptu and random street corners for bus faire situations. (And yes I have sang on street corners and will most likely do it again)

Anyways. I am so excited though. I scraped up the money to buy a new hoodie! It has been years since I actually bought a new one and I can't wait to get it. My last two remaining hoodies are about to die from too much love and hard use. The one is from my sophomore year of high school if that tells you how old it is...and the other is a fairy hoodie that I traded off a friend and don't even know how old that thing is. But they are both about ready to fall apart at this point. So the new hoodie I'm getting is though my school's music department and I love the fact that it prods fun at the fact that the music majors live in the Music and Theater building and never leave. ^-^ So yes, I hope to get it before Christmas. It would be nice!

Ah~but I really should do papers.....
